The males are prone to wandering and the females believe men to be best in small doses. Keeper tribes are often made up of two or three families who hunt together. In contrast to the Seekers of the Sun, the family is the fundamental unit of Keeper of the Moon Society.
The majority of Seekers worship Azeyma the Warden.
In larger tribes, multiple nunh may coexist in the same community, although such cases are rare. Young males are born and raised as "tia", and must either assume the position of nunh by defeating the existing nunh in single combat, or leave the community to form a harem of their own. The Seekers of the Sun are a patriarchal culture, with each tribe centered around a breeding male or nunh whose duty is to form a harem and lead his people to glory and prosperity. The Miqo'te have diverged into two ethnicities: the Diurnal Seekers of the Sun and the Nocturnal Keepers of the Moon.
5.1 Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. If you took our oceans away entirely, a human on the surface would still see blue skies, and if you managed to take our skies away (but still somehow gave us liquid water on the surface), our planet would still appear blue. The sky and ocean aren’t blue because of reflections at all they’re both blue, but each of their own volition. For the gas giant worlds that are blue, that actually is due to the color of the skies themselves.īut on Earth? Our atmosphere is thin enough that it cannot be responsible for our planet’s coloration. (Neptune is richer in ices, and has a greater variety of compounds, hence its different shade.) In large enough concentrations, methane is a little better at absorbing red light and a little better at reflecting blue light than the other wavelengths, while hydrogen and helium and mostly transparent to all frequencies of visible light. Uranus and Neptune, our Solar System's other two blue worlds, have atmospheres made primarily of hydrogen, helium and methane.
